Supplements are products such as protein powders, creatine, amino acids, mega-dose vitamins/minerals, weight loss aids, energy boosters, and more. The addition of supplements to an athlete’s diet is a hotly debated topic. Supplements, whether found in grocery stores, nutritionspecialty stores, or on-line, are not regulated by the FDA. Therefore, companies and manufacturers of these products do not need to prove they are safe before they are available to the public.

Sports Medicine’s Community Partner Priority Scheduling and Injury Hotline

As a valued community partner, Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine has a Priority Scheduling and Injury Hotline, which gives you immediate access to an athletic trainer. The Hotline is staffed 7 days a week by a certified athletic trainer from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The athletic trainer is available to:
